My EVP Journal

WEEK 2

10/01/07

We got several voices trying to come in at the same time, a singer, and some talking to each other.  We asked "who are you talking to" and one responded "I'm talking to you".  We asked how many were here and a voice counted to 6.  They confirmed 4 males and 2 females.  So we had Mr. Giggles, Timothy,  2 unknown men, a 5 year old little girl, and when I asked to talk to the other female they responded "It's a baby".

We kept hearing the little girl singing Ring Around the Rosie in the background.  We asked Mr. Giggles if we could play and he said "No!  Ha ha ha."  In this recording you can hear the end of the song "Ashes, ashes, we all fall DOWN".

10/02/07

We finally got Michael back (and others) and we got his last name!  Here's parts of conversations:

Me:  Do you think we'll be able to talk to you on a regular basis?

Michael:  Yes.

Me:  Do you try to tune in each night?

Michael:  Yes.

Me:  Yes?  Were you here?

Michael:  Yes.  I was here.

Me:  Who's that?

Michael:  It's Michael.

Me:  What is your last name?

Michael:  DeLaRue.

Me:  If it's DeLaRue, count to 3.

Michael:  1 2 3

Me:  Your name is Michael DeLaRue?

Michael:  Yes.

Me:  Do you believe in God?

Michael:  Yes.  Yes I do.

We also got more singing;

This Old Man and

Pop Goes the Weasel.

10/03/07

Tonight we had Michael, Mr. Giggles, Hazel and an unknown man.  The little girl's name is Hazel!  Ring Around the Rosie is her favorite song.  She sings it a lot!  I asked Mr. Giggles his last name and he said Giggles, lol.  He's finally talking to us now.  He died in 1925 at the age of 65 in my city.

10/05/07
We didn't get anything really clear today (humidity?).  Mr. Giggles confirmed again the year of his death as 1925.  Hazel actually called him for us.  We started to get where Jimmy was from; I think I heard Mexico?  We heard a strange tune and we also got a stranger who kept asking "What do you want" and when one of us gave her name he said "so what!".

10/06/07
Again, another hot, humid day and we didn't get anything too clear.  We ran into the stranger saying "What do you want" again and we did reach a woman for the first time.  Based on her answers, there's a possibility she's a relative.  Will try again on a better night.

10/07/07 Sunday
We got a man from Chicago 1987 and someone singing How Much is That Doggy in the Window.  We had to go thru the usual, long process of verifying the place and date, but he was very patient.
